Al Nassr to Compete for Penalty Shootout
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal defeated Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr 5-4 in a penalty shootout on Friday, May 31, 2024, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh. The match ended with a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of intense play.
Al Hilal opened the scoring in the second-half through a stunning free-kick by Salem Al-Dawsari. Al Nassr fought back and equalized in the 90th minute with a goal from Talisca.
The match went to a penalty shootout, where Al Hilal goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf saved the decisive penalty from Anderson Talisca. Al Hilal's victory completes a domestic double, having already won the Saudi Pro League earlier this season.
